X-SCALE / X2 CONFIGURATION MANUAL
DATE AND TIME
ACCESS INSTRUCTIONS:
1. From the S
YSTEM PARAMETERS screen, select the DATE AND TIME option by pressing <1> on the
keypad.
DESCRIPTION:
The S
ET DATE and SET TIME functions allow you to set the terminal Date and Time properties using the
following options:
Press <2> on the keypad. Using the numeric keypad, enter
the terminal’s time in the data entry dialog box. Move be-
tween fields with the <ARROW> keys. Press the <CTRL>
key to toggle between AM and PM. Press <ENTER> when
completed
* The ADVANCED SETTINGS function provides an alternative time/date change dialog but is primarily used to
change the terminal’s time zone and daylight savings properties.
Note: This option has been removed on software running X2 equipped units..
Use the following keys on the keyboard to navigate the date/time properties dialog:
<C
LEAR> - This key lets you jump from section to section within a dialog. It functions like the TAB key
on a PC keyboard. Once a section is “active” (highlighted via a change in color or a dotted border), you
can select an option in that area.
A
RROW <> KEYS - Press these keys to cycle through the available options in an area.
<CTRL> - Press this key to change a checkbox option from the checked (enabled) and unchecked
(disabled) conditions.
Press <1> on the keypad. Using the numeric keypad, enter
the date in the data entry dialog box. Move between fields
with the <ARROW> keys. Press <ENTER> when completed.
